St. John’s native Maggie Connors netted her first goal in the Professional Women’s Hockey League over the weekend.
Connors, who plays for the Toronto franchise, tied the game 2-2 during the third period against Montreal Saturday afternoon.

Toronto ended up winning their first game of the season in a 4-3 shootout victory.
The team will play Ottawa next tomorrow evening.
