A woman in her ’70s was arrested by metro police last night after somebody broke into a residence in Cowan Heights.
The incident unfolded at about 6 p.m.
The 72-year-old, who was arrested at the scene, faces charges of assault and assault with a weapon.
There were no injuries, and the accused was held overnight for court today.
