Cabinet Minister Derrick Bragg will be laid to rest this afternoon in his hometown of Greenspond, Bonavista Bay.
Bragg lost his battle with cancer on Monday. He was 59.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 1 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church and will be streamed online through Facebook.
A Book of Condolence remains set up at the entrance of Confederation Building for the public.
Donations in his memory are being accepted for Daffodil Place in St. John’s.
Bragg was honoured earlier this week at the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture’s annual symposium. He was posthumously awarded for his outstanding contribution to the industry.
