We now know who will be representing Newfoundland and Labrador at this year’s major curling tournaments.
Brad Gushue and his rink will be wearing the maple leaf since they won the Brier last year, leaving an opening for another team to represent this province.
Team Symonds, led by skip Andrew Symonds, secured their ticket to play for Team NL at this year’s Brier.
Stacie Curtis’ rink will represent NL at the Scotties for a second year in a row. That tournament goes ahead February 16 to February 25.
The Brier takes place in Regina from March 1 to March 10.
