The Millbrook Mall in Corner Brook remains closed until further notice after a water main break on the weekend.
Photos show pools of water building up in the parking lot, but there is no word on if there was any damage to the building.
The City of Corner Brook has shut off the mall’s water supply as contractors work to repair the issue.
The city says flooding reported on Burke’s Road near Broadway on Saturday evening was caused by a separate water main break. One home incurred damages from the flooding. Water has since been restored in that area.
The city says water main breaks are a common issue during the winter months, with about 30 reported each year.
