More details have been released about the upcoming Canadian Folk Music Awards to be held in St. John’s this April.
The event will be held from April 3rd to the 7th at various locations in the capital city’s downtown, including The Ship Pub, The LSPU Hall, The Majestic, and The Rooms.

It will feature a kickoff at The Ship, music showcases, and two nights of award presentations.
President Graham Lindsey says the celebratory week is about bringing musicians together.
He says it is exciting to bring musicians from away to the province, especially those who have never been here before.
