The province has two grants available to help communities and heritage groups mark the 75th anniversary of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Confederation with Canada.
The Community Celebrations and Events Grant is available to communities to help put off 75th anniversary celebration events.
Funding amounts vary according to population size with events to take place between April 1 and July 15.
The Heritage and Indigenous Cultural Projects Grant meanwhile is intended for heritage organizations like museums, historic societies or other groups with a history mandate.
Applications are available online. The deadline for submissions is March 1.
