Inflation dropped in Newfoundland and Labrador last month, well below the national average.
The inflation rate dropped across Canada to 2.9 per cent in January, down from 3.4 per cent in December.
In Newfoundland and Labrador, the inflation rate dropped to 2.5 per cent, down from 3.4 the previous month while in St. John’s, inflation fell to 2.8 per cent from 3.8 in December.
