One of the province’s fastest-growing sports organizations has a new executive director.
Krystin Coley of St. John’s Minor Baseball stepped down in January after 11 years with the organization, nearly five years of which were in the executive director’s position. She helped navigate the sport through COVID restrictions, and saw St. John’s Minor Baseball grow from 700 members a year, to 1,000 a year.
David Lahey will take over in the position as of March 11.
Lahey came up through the minor baseball system as a player and student employee, and most recently worked with SportNL where he played a key role at last year’s Canada Winter Games in PEI.
