The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has released a statement on the passing of one of it’s officers.
Chief Patrick Roche says that it is with “great sorrow” that he shares that Constable Robyn Jordan died suddenly on Saturday night in Labrador City.
Roche says the force is grieving the “tragic loss” of their friend and colleague, and are offering condolences and support to her family.
He says Jordan was “loved by many and will be greatly missed.”
While the death is not believed to be suspicious, the RCMP is investigating.
NAPE is sending their condolences to the family, friends, former coworkers in corrections, and members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary following Cst. Jordan’s passing.
