Health Minister Tom Osborne anticipates a report on the recent review into long-term and personal care homes in the province to be released “in the very near future.”
A $400,000 contract was awarded to MNP in November to examine things like quality of life and quality of care in such facilities.
The report was expected in the spring of 2024 but has yet to be released.
Minister Osborne told VOCM Open Line with Paddy Daly the report is due soon.
“It’s important to ensure to ensure that the professionals that are doing this report…are able to consult with stakeholders to ensure that not only staff, but residents have a better quality of life, a better quality of work.”
