Operations at the Mews Community Centre in St. John’s will return to normal on Sunday morning.
The city shut down the pool, steam room and sauna almost two weeks ago due to mechanical problems.
But there were delays in receiving the necessary parts to the complete repairs.
In a statement late Saturday morning, the city says those repairs are now done, and operations at the facility — specifically the pool, steam room and sauna — will resume as of 7 a.m. Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, the opening of the new replacement for the Mews Centre has been delayed again.
It was scheduled to open in the fall, and then this spring, but that’s now been pushed back to this summer.
