Over $1.7 million has been awarded for Community and Capital Grants in the City of St. John’s.
For 2024, community grants total $1.26 million, while capital grants total about half a million dollars. Nearly $10,000 is set for waived permit fees.
The grants and subsidies program is available for nonprofit groups, organizations and people whose programming supports the city’s strategic directions.
This year’s Community Grant program provides assistance to 111 community groups and 58 individual artists. There are 28 news recipients this year.
