The Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador is bringing back its Made in Canada: Sustainable Fibre Arts Conference this fall.
And the council is using $100,000 through the province’s Year of the Arts funding to make it happen.
The council’s director of events and outreach, Bruno Vinhas, says this will be the second time the organization has put off the event, the first being nine years ago.
He says the three-day event will feature workshops, panels, presentations, and an exhibition.
The event is set for Gros Morne National Park in September.
