Canada is off to a great start at the World Men’s Curling Championship in Switzerland.
The Brad Gushue foursome defeated Czechia 9-8 in an extra end today.
The St. John’s-based rink of Gushue, Mark Nichols, E.J. Harnden and Geoff Walker play Germany later today.
It's a win for @TeamGushue! There's nothing like an opening event extra-end win to get the blood pumping.
