Planned Parenthood Newfoundland and Labrador is getting a funding boost to support the Sexual Health Centre’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Warm Line.
The minister responsible for women and gender equity, Pam Parsons, has announced $30,000 for the Warm Line.
The funding is provided under the National Action Plan to End Gender-based Violence.
The Warm Line operates from Wednesday to Sunday from 6 to 10 p.m. Those needing to access to the line should call or text 1-800-230-8041.
