Nunatsiavut President Johannes Lampe has been acclaimed for another term.
Lampe was the only candidate to come forward for the Nunatsiavut government’s top job.
While Lampe has been declared elected, it does not become official until he participates in the Inuttitut debate as per The Nunatsiavut Elections Act.
Once that happens, Lampe will be officially declared elected by the Nunatsiavut Electoral Officer.
The time and date of the debate will be determined in the coming days.
