A woman has been charged as the result of a stabbing in Ochre Pit Cove on the Conception Bay North Shore.
RCMP were called following a disturbance and stabbing at a home in the community around noon on Sunday.
The victim was taken to Carbonear General for treatment of serious wounds.
Thirty-four-year-old April Oliver was arrested a short time later and held in police custody pending her court appearance yesterday.
Charged with aggravated assault, she is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
The investigation continues.
