Premier Andrew Furey says no decisions have been made on the next byelection that is needed in the district of Baie Verte-Green Bay.

The PCs flipped the district of Fogo Island-Cape Freels from red to blue earlier this week with the election of Jim McKenna. Similarly, earlier this year the Liberals turned Conception Bay East-Bell Island red with the election of Fred Hutton.

The next byelection will be for the seat vacated by former Liberal cabinet minister Brian Warr at the end of February.

Furey says he will have more to say on that race soon.

He says they will take a breath following the Fogo Island-Cape Freels election, and will have more to say later in the week.
