Belles with Balls NL will be holding a special documentary screening next month in recognition of World Ovarian Cancer Day.
The film, shot in Portugal Cove, shares the stories of five local women who have either been diagnosed or impacted by ovarian cancer.
The documentary also highlights the warning signs and some of the research being done on the disease.
Keynote speakers will also give presentations following the film.
The free screening takes place at MUN’s Medical School on May 8 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
