Two Newfoundland towns are finalists to be featured in a new song by a popular children’s music duo.
Splash ‘N Boots recently put out the public call for a town or city that should be included in the lyrics of the song.
Both Grand Falls-Windsor and Winterland have made the final top three, along with Kingston, Ont.
In addition to getting its name into the song, an accompanying music video will also be shot in the winning community.
Voting is now open on the Splash ‘N Boots Facebook page, and closes on April 29.
Splash ‘N Boots will be in St. John’s in July as part of the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival.
They also have dates coming up in Grand Falls-Windsor and Corner Brook.
