Unionized workers at eleven Dominion grocery stores in this province have ratified a new collective agreement resulting in what one Unifor representative calls the highest raise Dominion workers have had in many years.
The new contract comes with an 18 to 25 per cent increase in wages over the next five years.
Wages are expected to increase by between $3.20 an hour for part-time workers, and $4.50 for full-time staff.
Unifor represents about 1600 workers at eleven Dominion stores across the province.
