Flair Airlines has made its inaugural flight out of St. John’s.
The first passengers answered the boarding call Monday afternoon to Kitchener-Waterloo.
Deemed an “ultra low cost carrier,” Flair will be operating two routes out of St. John’s—the aforementioned Kitchener-Waterloo flight, and one to Toronto-Pearson.
As for whether more flights could be added in the future, Chief Commercial Officer with Flair, Garth Lund, says they will wait and see.
He says they want to see how the two new flights go first, but they would like to further expand in the future.
