A 22-year-old man is facing impaired driving charged following a single vehicle crash on the southeast coast of Labrador.
Forteau RCMP were called after a commercial vehicle left the road between Capstan Island and West St. Modeste.
The driver and lone occupant of the truck was taken to the the Labrador South Health Centre for treatment, but he refused, and left the clinic on foot before police arrived.
Paramedics helped police locate the man who RCMP say showed signs of impairment.
He refused to provide breath samples and was released to appear in court in July on charges of impaired driving and refusing a breath demand. His licence has also been suspended.
