A 47-year-old man from Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, arrested for impaired on the weekend, faces multiple charges after providing breath samples that were sky high.
RCMP received numerous complaints of a vehicle being driven dangerously heading eastbound on the Trans Canada near Bishops Falls.
Police pulled the vehicle over a short time later just west of Glenwood.
The man was arrested for drunk driving after blowing more than four times the legal limit.
His license was suspended and his vehicle impounded. He’s scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
