The search for answers regarding the bizarre discovery of a Stephenville man’s body after he was reported missing in Ontario came up in the provincial legislature Monday.
Brian Lush was reported missing after he had parked his long haul truck at a truck stop near Cornwall on April 24.
Two weeks later, after his truck was released by the Ontario Provincial Police and transported back to this province, Lush’s body was discovered in the tractor trailer.
That has lead to questions about how the man’s body was missed by the OPP.
PC Leader Tony Wakeham brought up the situation during Question Period.
Wakeham asked if anyone in the Deputy Premier’s office had reached out to their counterparts in Ontario to ensure that the family gets the answers they’re looking for.
Minister Steve Crocker answered the question, noting that he will speak with people in the department for more information.
