An Ontario man was arrested last weekend following a traffic stop during which RCMP seized a quantity of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP pulled the vehicle over after noticing a burned-out headlight, and failure to use a turn signal.
Police later determined that the driver was operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, while under a Canada-wide driving restriction.
A quantity of cocaine and drug paraphernalia were also seized.
Fifty-two-year-old Kamel Kharooba is facing charges of driving while prohibited, and possession of a controlled substance. The investigation continues.
