A new program to help small businesses adjust to minimum wage increases is now accepting applications.
The program was announced last month, with $2 million set aside from the provincial government to help some 600 local businesses with an increase in minimum wage.
The lowest-paid workers in the province now earn $15.60 an hour.
Eligible employers can access between $2500 to $5000 to help with the wage increase.
