A man who stopped to gas up his stolen vehicle didn’t get a chance to resume his joyride.
RNC officers spotted him at the pumps in the centre city area of St. John’s around 1:00 this morning and sealed off any possible escape.
The 38-year-old was taken to the lockup to await charges of possession of property obtained by crime, driving while prohibited, and breaching probation.
