The former leader of the provincial PC Party is set to make the leap to federal politics.

David Brazil has long been rumoured to be considering a run for the federal Conservative Party in the riding of St. John’s East.

Now he has a “significant announcement” coming tomorrow at 5:30 the Holiday Inn Express in St. John’s where he’s expected to announce his intention to run for the Conservative nomination.
