A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged following a collision on Pennywell Road this morning.
Police received the call shortly after 10:00 this morning after a car struck a parked car, and sign, and narrowly missing a house near the intersection of Franklyn Avenue across from the hockey arena.
The driver fled on foot, but Police Dog Services caught up with him a short time later and was taken into custody.
The accused is facing charges of driving while prohibited, hit and run, driving without insurance, driving without a license, and breach of probation.
Police are asking anyone with video or dash cam footage from the area at the time of the crash to contact them.
The investigation continues.
