The RNC in Corner Brook are investigating after a fire, which stemmed from a BBQ, caused extensive damage to one home, and minor exterior damage to another.
Emergency crews were first called to the home on Clarence Street just before 8 p.m. Wednesday.
There were no injuries.
The Constabulary is reminding that BBQs should be placed at least three feet away from a home and be kept clean. People should never leave their grills unattended, and they should have access to a fire extinguisher should something happen.
