Flash flooding caused by intense thunderstorms that rolled across the west coast yesterday washed out the road to the Hammond Farm Feed & Supplies store in Humber Valley.
The access road runs parallel to the TCH and while the highway was not damaged, the access road was completely washed out.
The company says the store is closed today while they work on reopening the road to the farm.
Some parts of the island are still experiencing intense thunderstorm activity, particularly Clarenville, Terra Nova and Bonavista.
