A wanted man was arrested after police were called to a theft at the Avalon Mall in St. John’s yesterday.
When police arrived around 2:30 p.m., security already had the man in custody. A police check showed the man was wanted on a warrant.
He was arrested and taken to the lockup. He was charged with theft under $5,000.
