Metro police got two for the price of one last night when they stopped a vehicle in the area of Pippy Place in St. John’s around 9:30 p.m.
The 47-year-old woman who was driving was cited for not having insurance on the vehicle, operating an unregistered vehicle and failing to notify the authorities of change of ownership. Her vehicle was seized by police.
The passenger, a 54-year-old man, had two outstanding warrants against him so he now faces a charge of failing to appear and three breaches of court orders.
The man was taken to the lockup and held for court.
