A 15-year-old boy has been charged with armed robbery following an incident on Cowan Avenue in St. John’s over the weekend.
A teenager was taken to hospital Friday shortly before midnight with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
RNC officers later determined that a robbery had occurred, involving assault with a weapon.
The next day just before 2 p.m. a 15-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with the incident.
He has been charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, using an imitation firearm to commit an offence, and assault with a weapon.
