Man Arrested After Woman Assaulted in St. John’s

A man is in the lockup after a woman was assaulted in the centre city area of St. John’s.

The incident happened at about 10:00 last night with the RNC receiving numerous calls from the public.

Police charged the man with assault and breaching court orders.

He was held to appear before a judge today.
