A child, reported missing in the capital city’s downtown has been found safe and sound.

The news came as a great relief to family and friends who suffered some anxious moments after the child wandered away from the Goodview Street area.

That prompted a search, including officers walking door to door to try to locate the little boy.

RNC tweeted out the happy news that the child was found safe around 4:00 p.m.
