NL Health Services is gradually resuming health care services in Labrador City as residents return to the town.
As of noon today, the ER at the Labrador West Health Centre will be fully operational.
Previously scheduled appointments, such as prenatal and surgical services, have not yet resumed. Patients will be contacted in the coming days to re-schedule, however NLHS notes the process may take longer than usual.
As far as primary care and prescriptions go, the temporary clinic in Wabush remains open.
More updates will be made available as plans are finalized.
