The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is expanding patrols using a combination of new and tried-and-true methods.
The public can expect to see more uniformed members on bicycle and on horseback, especially in recreational areas that police cruisers can’t access.
The bike and horse patrols will concentrate on parks, greenspaces and pedestrian-only areas, and allow officers to address concerns people may have and provide a greater level of public security, according to the RNC.
