The provincial and federal governments are chipping in over half-a-million dollars towards community upgrades on the Great Northern Peninsula.
The funding will be used to complete projects in St. Anthony, including an expansion of the multi-use trail and increased visitor capacity at the local marina.
Plans are also in the works to expand capacity to grow more local fruits and vegetables.
Government hopes the funding will attract visitors to the region.
