Extensive search efforts continue on the Port au Port Peninsula for a woman who has been missing for several days.
Myra Jane Barter, 51, was last seen walking along the Main Road in Piccadilly around lunchtime on Saturday.
Police believe Barter may have gone berry picking, but ground and air searches by RCMP and Search and Rescue have turned up empty.
RCMP have concerns for her wellbeing as she has mobility issues and is without her medication.
Barter is 5 feet, 5 inches tall with brown hair. She was wearing a light-coloured shirt, black pants, and walking with a cane at the time she was last seen.
Residents in the community are asked to check any home surveillance footage in hopes of retracing Barter’s steps.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Myra Jane Barter is asked to contact Bay St. George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
