The opposition health critic says he’s being bombarded by stories from seniors across the province who are fed up with the health care system.
Barry Petten says the issues are coming from all corners, especially the emergency departments.
He says the complaints run the gamut from wait times over 12 hours to issues accessing food and water.
Petten is putting the blame on the provincial government, not the medical professionals.
He says we’re still years away from seeing real improvements in the emergency rooms, which is welcomed, but he says there are issues that can be and should be addressed right now.
