A man who pilfered from two businesses in Mount Pearl over a relatively short period of time is under arrest.

The RNC were notified by an outlet at about 4:30 yesterday afternoon that a man had just stolen merchandise from them. He then repeated the exercise at a business nearby while police were still in the area.

The 29-year-old faces charges of theft, breach of release and breach of probation. He was held to appear in court.
