The East Coast Music Awards – which will be held in St. John’s next spring – will start accepting submissions after Labour Day.

For the first time ever, submission fees will be waived for the first 48 hours to promote inclusivity and accessibility.

All submissions regardless of whether they are an album, single, Ep, waterfall release, visual album or any other format, will be evaluated equally. The category titles have been updated from Recording to Release in line with current industry trends.

Some new categories are also being introduced for 2025 including Solo Artist of the Year, Group of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and Vocal Release of the Year.

Submissions will be accepted starting September 4th.
