A Labrador man’s endurance, determination and skill led him to victory on the popular History Channel series Alone.
William Larkham Jr. was named the season 11 winner after spending 84 days in the Arctic, living in a small shelter called a “tilt.”
The win came as a bit of a shock to Larkham Jr., who thought he was headed for a routine medical exam.
Instead, he was met by his wife Jillian who delivered the big news.
“Bill, you won!” she exclaimed as she reunited with her husband. Larkham Jr. couldn’t believe the news as he embraced his wife for the first time since heading out into the Arctic months prior.
