The St. John’s and District Labour Council is hosting it’s annual Labour Day barbecue and parade today.
The parade forms up at the Memorial Stadium Dominion at 11:30 and will walk along the Boulevard to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56 in Pleasantville for a family barbecue and activities from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m.)
Meanwhile, the 106th annual Labour Day Parade is taking place in Grand Falls-Windsor, forming, as it always has, on Main Street at 9:00 a.m. and following the traditional route to High Street followed by speeches, activities and prizes.
