An update is coming today on construction of the long-awaited completion of the Team Gushue Highway.
The province issued a tender for the work in July, with the expectation that the work would begin by the fall, and be completed some time in 2026.
Premier Andrew Furey, Transportation Minister Fred Hutton, MHA Lucy Stoyles, and MP Seamus O’Regan will all be on hand for the announcement. It is taking place at 1p.m. on Brookfield Road, where the new section of highway will intersect.
