Police in Sheshatshiu are piecing together the details after a young person was arrested in connection to an arson at a home in the community.

Emergency crews were called around 8 p.m. on Monday to reports of a fire at a home on McKenzie Drive. When they arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames.

The young person was arrested at the scene.

Police are asking for any information about activity at or near the home between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Monday.

Police are also looking to identify and speak with the driver of a white truck parked in front of the home at the time.
