Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services says there has been a reduction in the use of travel nurses since they unveiled a plan to do just that earlier this year.
The health authority unveiled the plan in April, and since that time Vice President of Human Resources Debbie Molloy says they have been tracking the numbers monthly.
She says they had 385 agency nurses in the province in February. As of Monday they had 293, about a 15 per cent decrease.
